Little Bookworm

Never too early to start brainwashing your baby to inherit your own obsessions... :)

The picture was taken in February, Emma obviously enjoying the book. Today she impressed me immensely - we were reading "Waar is Otto", and she was opening all the flaps by herself! I know she probably practised before with her granny, but I didn't expect her to be able to open them all without any help! Wow! :)

She really is adorable - I love this photo below of her on the couch - so sweet! When I first started reading your blog I got really broody but have it (barely) under control for now. I just have no idea how you fit it all in... All I have to do is look after myself and sometimes I feellike I can't even keep up with that.

:) Thanks! I know all mothers think their babies are the cutest but oh my word, Emma is just getting cuter every day! She has such a bubbly personality - and (unlike her parents!) wakes up with a HUGE smile every morning... can't think of a better way to begin a day... :)
Must say, I'm still getting used to fitting it all in. I cried non-stop for about 2 months after maternity leave, at least much more emotionally stable now. But I don't think I'll ever be totally in control again - just have to get used to the constant state of chaos and find some equilibrium.
Taking all of that into account - it is worth all of it!! I promise!!
